SANTA LIBRADA MODEL UNITED NATIONS

WHAT IS A MUN?

Santa Librada Model United Nations (SL-MUN) is the Model United Nations conference organized by the Colegio Nacional Santa Librada in Neiva, Colombia. A Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students represent different countries and debate international issues in structured committees, developing skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking. SL-MUN brings together students from various schools across the department of Huila to participate in this educational experience. Each year, the conference selects a central theme that guides the debates and discussions within the committees. The event takes place in the city of Neiva and aims to encourage critical thinking, global awareness, and leadership among participating students.
